In April 2012 I made the decision to revisit being a 'Stay at home mum'. I wanted to concentrate on my family. My three boys needed me there for support after school and my husbands fly fishing business needed my attention. With less income coming into the household some adjustments to our lifestyle had to be made. It became a quest for me to find ways of living a healthy and wealthy lifestyle on a shoe string budget. During this journey not only have I found ways on feeding my family great food for very little money, grow my own vegetables, keep chickens, restore second hand furniture, sew, build, paint and fix most anything (with the help of Google), but I have also discovered that many things that used to be important now feels less necessary. I have found a new way of enjoying life where the beauty lies in the process and the right attitude can open doors that I did not know existed. I have found contentment and happiness beyond what I thought was possible.
